With the high-speed development of information technology,Internet has become not only the richest information warehouse but also the leading approach of information transmission and acquirement in the world. With the appearance of more and more text information on the internet, more and more Search Engine appear at the same time. how to find a wanted information in the Internet by these Search Engine however is a major problem, search of high quality information is even more difficult. The Meta-Searchengine can resolve the above problem.Meta-searchengine is regarded as search engine based on search engines.Users only need to submit search requirements once,it is the responsibility of the Meta-searchengine to transform,process and hand over the requirements to multiple pre-selected independent search engines,then present the search results in a uniform format to users. Meta-searchengine is a web based system,and J2EE is one of the major method in development of web system,So we choose J2EE as the base technology of our system.The following contents are contained in this paper. Firstly we focus on the key technologies in design and implementation of Meta-searchengine.After giving a demonstration of the basic structure of Meta-searchengine,this paper discusses the questions that should take into consideration in design and brings forward the corresponding implementation. Secondly we talk about J2EE and how to implement Meta-searchengine system use J2EE. Thirdly we talk about the architecture of Meta-searchengine of this whole system and description of functional modules.Lastly, we analyse the most important implementation details in the actual process of Meta-searchengine system.
