Information Security, Web Services-based Virtual Experiment System Research And Implementation

Considered to requirement of the university and the training organization to offer information security experiment in local and the distance education, in order to reduce cost and obtain the high performance, the information security virtual experiment platform based on the Web Service has been developed.The students may visit the on-line experimental system through Internet, and prepare an experiment through the multimedia CAI teaching system and the on-line self-test system, submit the test report, and inquire about the score. The teachers may edit experiment project using the on-line experiment creating system.In order to maintain the stability of the PC operating system in the laboratory, we installed multi-virtual machine in a host computer and designed a network for the attack and defense simulation. The students may watch and analysis attack process using the protocol analysis software which developed by us.In order to enhance the teaching effect, we have developed the network firewall, the data encryption and the email encryption system, the network monitor and control system. The students not only may operate and configure these systems actually, also carry on the network attack and defense, and obtain the experience, grasp the information security elementary knowledge, the elementary operation and the basic config method. We also provided the core source code class, the function modules or the components to the students, so the students could program these systems, and have a thorough grasp of the above system design realization technology.The private UDDI registration center has been established in which all Web Service of the on-line experimental system descripted and registered. We have realized the Web Service registration and the dynamic inquiry, the dynamic call on UDDI.The design can enhance the quality of service in the experiment system.
