Oth Radar System Simulation

OTHR was called over-the-horizon radar in forepart . It detected the targets over horizon by the refraction and circumambulating phenomena produced when the Hertzian waves spread abroad . The object of our research is sky wave OTHR . It is componented by the space ionosphere's reflection against short wave .OTHR simulating system was composed by 4 modules . They are signal creating , signal processing , data processing and track showing . In the text , the function and structure of the simulating system was introduced . The 4 modules was expatiated separately . The emphases of our design are data processing part and track showing part.Firstly , the false alarm probability was constant by CFAR . Secondly , the point over gate was united , then the sidelobe information was deleted . Thirdly , data processed by signal processing part of the radar, was tidied and associated reasonably and effectively , then the complete track of the moving object was drawn . Finally , the track was showed by the part of track showing part . The method researched in this thesis was proved to be logical and effective.
