The 3D hover model system is provided by the Canadian company Quanser experimental apparatus. We can complete its control experiments in the laboratory, and do research on control rules.In this paper, we mainly research Fuzzy-PID controller on the 3D hover system in simulation and actual control. The model system has three freedoms, namely: Pitch, Roll, and Yaw . Through learning the fuzzy theoretical knowledge and PID theoretical knowledge, we use the advantages of both to design the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller. In Simulink environment of Matlab, we use the fuzzy-PID controller designed to do simulation experiments in the 3D hover, and get good performance, better robustness. Then we do experiment in the 3D hover with the real-time control software WinCon, the effect is good.In this paper, we also compare curves of the LQR controller to curves of the fuzzy-PID controller, and do analysis of their performance advantages.Through actual debugging, we certificated the controller(Fuzzy-PID Controller) was correctness in the 3D model hover, the controller can control the system to the hopeful position, it may be some instructed meaning to control and implement of the actual control system.
