With the amalgamation of the Mobile Communications Industry and Internet, Smart Phone that syncretize 3C (Computer, Communication, Comsumer) has become the main direction. However, the mainstream Smart Phone in market is an expensive system, and a long development cycle. In view of this situation, we designed a Smart Phone System based on Intel PXA255 processor with embeded-Linux. Compared to other systems, it has lower-cost, shorter development cycle and maturer technology, which allows third-party manufacturers to reduce their technical risk, lower development costs and shorten new product development cycle. It has a certain practical application value.This system consists of hardware circuit design, the transplant of operating system Linux(including the transplant of BSP (Board Support Program)), driver program and the applications design (including the transplant of Qt graphical user interface). The author completed the transplant of operating system Linux and wireless lan card driver program. The main contents include : 1) the transplant of BSP (board support program) armboot.2) the transplant of an embedded-Linux operating system.3) the driver development of ralink wireless lan card(support 802.11g)use to wireless data transmission on the actual process.
