Depending on the development of reconnaissance and interference techniques, spread-frequency communication is gradually becoming the effective communication manner in order to reduce the probability of being captured or interfered, to enhance the security of communication, and to improve the anti-jamming ability of the communication system. Frequency-hopping (FH) communication is part of the spread-frequency communication. Because of the powerful abilities of multi-address and anti-interference, spread-frequency and FH are used both in military and civil fields more and more frequently. Therefore, it is more and more important to detect the frequency-hopping signal. The thesis that did the research focusing on the realization of real-time de-hopping processing, introduces the hardware and software models of the de-hopping and digital intermediate frequency receiver and describes the key part of the design. Finally the fruit of research for my master degree presents in the way of actual de-hopping and digital intermediate frequency receivers that have passed the examination.The de-hopping and digital intermediate frequency receiver can either do the real-time de-hopping processing or be used as a software radio receiver. Therefore, the thesis firstly introduces the fundamental of FH communication and briefly explains the software radio, including the conceptions, characteristics, history, actuality, key techniques and so on.The receiver can be used as a software radio receiver. So in chapter 2, the thesis introduces the related theory of software radio, such as the sampling theory, multi-rate signal processing, and high efficient digital filter.The FH signal is a kind of non-stationary signal that the frequency changes non-linearly along with the time. However, the time-frequency analysis technique is the powerful tool to deal with these signals.
