With the swift development of science technology, image matching technology has become a very important technology in the field of information management in modern times, especially image information management, it is also used widely in many other fields, such as computer vision, aviation photography measure, resource analyse, physic image matching, photics and radar trace, aerocraft cruise and guide, missile landform matching and so on. At the present time, image matching arithmetics are comparatively mature, but low count quantity and high matching precision is still a couple of conflict.Aim at the problem of image matching in navigation guidance, the author put forward a scheme in this paper which is based on the wavelet analysis for the referential image. It match the images which have low resolving power first, then reduce grade up one by one, and carry out the image matching for all resolving power at last. The experiment proved that this scheme had comparatively high matching precision, at the same time used few count quantity.The primary work in this paper as follows: 1, Study the belongings of image matching, emphasize the strategies for kinds ofimage matching arithmetics, and design the matching strategiy and matchingarithmetic according as the characteristic of navigation and the information offeredby navigation. 2, Discuss kinds of error factor that can influence the capability of matching,especially emulate and analyse the antinoise capability and the filterless capabilityof the wavelet transform arithmetic. 3, Study the image matching of navigation guidance which used wavelet transform,then offer the emulational rerult and analyse through the experiment. 4, Particularly study the aspects of genetic algorithms, discuss and analyse theproblems of the application in this paper. 5, Combine the genetic algorithms and the wavelet transform arithmetic, then apply inthe image matching, gained comparatively high matching precision and few countquantity.
