During the history of the display technology, to gain high luminous efficiency is always very important things for scientist. It has been made a great progress from CRT to flat panel display.For the display devices, there are two ways to improve the luminous efficiency of display devices. One is to improve the luminous efficiency of emitting materials; the other is to mend the structure of device to realize high exterior efficiency, our work content of the dissertation is belonging to the later. It can remarkable enhance the external quantum efficiency by changing the structure of faceplate and decrease the light loss, because if can change the direction of the ray, and avoids the light-wave effect.The simulation of device and relative experiments are all introduced in the dissertation. Simulation mainly explains the transmission of light after through the surface-textured glass. We adopt two methods to simulate the trace of ray.1. Method of Monte Carlo modeling. In this dissertation we study the important characteristic of Monte Carlo method---generation and testing of pseudo-random number。We programmed a program of uniform random-number generator and uniform random-vector generator, and simply test the performance of random-number generator.2. Ray-tracing Method. According to geometric-optic principle. We study the trace of the light, when it flies through the textured-glass, and we also investigate the absorption or transmission of the light.At the part of experiment, we study the wet-etching technique of glass substrate, based on semiconductor process, which includes photolithography and etching. And some useful results are given. At the same time we fabricate many OLED devices adopting the textured-glass and test their performance.This dissertation is composed of five chapters totally. In chapter 1, the research background of our work, meaning and main work are all introduced.
