In the time of booming information and networking technology, embeded system has been pervasively applied in various areas of engineering. In order to adapt to different implementation, Linux has been modified and refined to be a specific embeded system.The implement of an SDH ADM control platform based on the embeded system, which is used to configure the ADM and accomplish the timeslot configeration,overhead insertion,loopback configeration,mapmode configeration,mode selection and reset etc., is introduced in this dissertation.Firstly, the characteristics of the embedded system have been analysed in the dissertation. Then the popular embeded OS such asμC/OS andμCLinux is compared, the real-time solution of theμCLinux is also discussed. According to the requirements of the project and the solution design,μCLinux is selected as the OS of SDH ADM control platform. Consequently, the dissertation discusses and designs the specific solution of the control platform. Then it completes the construction of both the hardware and software platform, interface between CGI and drivers, top-level application programing. Finally, the test of the whole flatform is completed.The hardware part of the control platform is based on the Motorola 5249C3 developing board in order to accelerate the efficiency. The software design includes two parts, construction of the software platform and the control application. The former part includes construction of the hardware platform and software platform as well as the porting of the embeded OS. The latter is the programing of the embedded control application.The research includes many parts such as MCU,embeded system,Bootloader,Filesystem,CGI,Webserver,HTTP etc. And it also involves with many specific technologies such as embedded system design,porting of the embedded OS,interface between top-level CGI and drives,dynamic web technology etc. After one year of development, the whole solution has been completed and the control platform is stable and credible.
