This paper, introduces the concept of Microfluidic Chips, and its systems, application scope briefly. Furthermore, this paper introduces whole development process.Firstly, the detection theories are discussed according to various detection principles. Then, the optical design, circuit design, structure design and the software are developed. By this way, we finally manufactured a multi-disciplinary instrument and made experiments on it for hundreds of times. Through the analysis results, we studied on the various factors that influence the signal to noise ratio (shorted for SNR). At last, the overall optimization was made on this instrument.For the reason that microfluidic chips adopt micro channel, detect super low ensity reagent, and detect single molecule, the instrument must have the characteristic such as: high sensitivity, high SNR, reaction speed. For high SNR, we have designed special filter and suitable pinhole in addition to mitigating the stray light. Furthermore, we designed the signal amplifier and software filter. For convenience, we also designed a friendly operating system..Currently, our instrument has satisfied the chips' various detecting requirements. This instrument can directly carry out life sciences detection, chemical analysis and other detection, and also promote the microfluidic technique. Moreover, this instrument has had characteristic such as micromation, integration, and excellent detecting ability. So, this instrument has a definite and promising application future.
