Along with the LCD TV lead the mainstream of TV consumption. Because of its especial display principle and electric-photo characteristic, its display characteristic is difference with CRT TV, the apparatuses used to measure the capability parameter of the CRT TV are unfit for LCD TV. We need a new system to measure the capability parameter of LCD TV.The paper introduce a system used for auto measurement the LCD TV electric-photo characteristic, The research focuses on the design of a automatic measurement system which can measure the main capability parameter of LCD TV and compute the data automatically. The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter introduces the trend of TV and the characteristic of LCD display, describe the characteristic of electric-photo to the LCD. Introduce the difference of display between the CRT TV and LCD TV , And the paper brings forward the research direction .The second chapter introduces the test method for digital television LCD displays. In this chapter the paper introduce the basic principle of brightness contrast view angle. Uniformity of brightness and uniformity of chroma . It also recommend the measurement principle of color luminance meter. put forward the framework of synthesis measurement system of LCD TV.The third chapter introduces the mechanism design of system, which is the paper emphases. It is made up of the selection of parts. the design of control project and the design of circuit.The forth chapter discuss the system software design, it make up of four modules, parameter setup and memory module, display module, communication module , calculate module.The fifth chapter introduces the result of using of the system. In the end of the paper put forward some advices of the system.
