Data Mining In Hospital Information System

On-Line Transaction Processing has been realized in Hospital Information System, but it is limited to the queries and statistical report of data, and it is short of support to the synthetic queries of all the subsystems and to computer-aided decisions. With the development of HIS System and the progress of its application in our country, more and more data are produced, Hospital administrative levels thirst for higher data analysis functions so as to assist their decision. In the data mining research field, their objective is to find a few potential rules or implied information from mass data. With the development of data mining, the technique becomes more and more mature. At the same time, its Applications are widely used. But data mining technology is still poorly in the present HIS System. Actually, the research result of data mining is available for HIS System, and its value is also proved in HIS System. The composition of the HIS System and data mining can make the HIS System to be more effective. Furthermore, It brings forth the new task for the research in data mining, and makes a broader prospect for the developing of data mining's application.The thesis focuses on the application of data mining in HIS System. The data mining theory is used in a concrete HIS System, it realized the composition of the HIS System and data mining.
