Research And Implementation Of Wireless Lan Security Analysis And Detection System

We introduce the IEEE 802.11b security mechanism and WEP algorithm, expound WEP encryption mechanism's holes and analyze all kinds of attack methods to WLAN and the destructions the attacks result in. At the same time we explain WPA and 802.11i protocol, and analyze the security problems the protocols exist.In this paper we begin at the research of WSDS model .The system model we have researched is presented. It constitutes detection agent, analyze server and management console. We describe every modules of the model. We also introduce the handheld WSDS that we developed, include building the development environments, the realization of the three part of the model, system transplant and system auto-boot.Intrusion detection technology is mainly composed of misuse detection and anomaly detection. By comparing all kinds of intrusion detection technology, we choose statistic analysis, protocol analysis and command parsing as the detection methods in the detection engine. Protocol analysis comes of pattern matching. It is very suitable for wireless intrusion detection. In this paper, I expound detection methods that I designed to all kinds of wireless intrusion measures.
