Intrusion Detection, Security And Defense System's Development And Design In WLAN Environment

With the wide application of wireless technology,Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technology becomes more mature related, WLAN with its advantages of flexibility and mobility in the field of network technology to become a hot topic, while WLAN because of its inherent characteristics, transmission medium, such as openness, mobility. Wireless network equipment, the lack of a wired LAN as an effective border monitoring and clear defense and other considerations, coupled with a variety of WLAN network topology change is inevitable to encounter illegal users attacks and for unauthorized access to the wireless network equipment, leading to information theft, data tampering and network resources are occupied by a range of issues, there have been many small and medium enterprise want to build a WLAN but not to use it.In the wired network environment, the intrusion detection technology has a perfect system(IDS), this basic idea will be used to Wireless Local Area Network, which for improving the security of WLAN has some practical significance. Throughout the existing network intrusion detection systems, generally used in medium to large enterprise network environment, and in daily work and study life, people use WLAN access network, due to lack of the necessary awareness of prevention, often leads to personal information, so for small businesses and ordinary users, the author designed and developed a lightweight safety defense system , have some relevance and practical significance.Based on the analysis of wireless local area network security mechanisms, the author describes the design of the wireless LAN environment, safety testing of lightweight defense prototype system, for wireless transmission of data packets in the detection, capture, further analysis of the process of analysis, WLAN security technology adding new security measures, to some extent to improve and resolve the current wireless network security flaws and potential problems ,promote the development of WLAN technology, and everyday applications have a certain role in promoting . In this paper, the design of the system involves more extensive wireless LAN technology, not only the mechanism of encryption algorithm, as well as network intrusion detection technology, common wireless network attacks, the paper from the multi-angle, multi-levels of discussion, a combination of the types of network security technology Analysis and Design of the system, and system run and test, in their daily work has some practical value.
