Texture is an important concept in image processing and virtual reality. Its applicable research has been wide and in-depth. Texture synthesis from sample is a new technique which is developed in recent years, it not only overcomes the problems in traditional techniques of texture, but also has direction meaning to the research on other correlational fields. So texture synthesis from sample gets more and more attention, and becomes one of the hotspots for computer graphics, computer vision and image processing.Because of the universality and multiformity, texture doesn 't have an unambiguous definition now, so it makes the research of textures complex and difficult. In this paper, we consider texture as a certain type of image, and put forward two new concepts, one is called balance coefficient inside group, the other is called balance coefficient between groups, and apply them to calculate texture standard property. By calculating texture standard property, we institute the standard of partition for texture images. We researched a lot of images and textures to decide to use texture standard property to measure this property, and obtained a good result. Otherwise, this paper is focus on the analysis and research of the current situation of long time cost and poor quality in patchbased sampling texture synthesis. It was found that for a certain type of texture which has visual repeatability, the own character of texture can be used to accelerate the speed of texture synthesis and improve the quality as well. By the researching for this type of texture characters, the concept of almost periodic texture has been introduced. Based on it, this paper provide an algorithm to calculate the almost periodic solution with slip subwindow's gray distance, which leads us optimize the precision of matching process. Afterwards, the synthesis is processed by using zero-research technique. It was evidenced from the experiments that, for almost periodic texture, the arithmetic in this paper can highly enhance the speed of texture synthesis process, meanwhile, output image's quality are even better than that of traditional methods.
