Variant applications of the digital video have variant needs for the quality of the images, but in many occasions, the captured sequences are unstable and lack of whole information because of the limitation of the shooting environment and condition, which brings a lot of trouble to the observer and the late processings. In the research of video stabilization, the existing techniques have more or less disadvantages such as large computation and calculation errors and so on. In the study of the video lost information recovering, there's still no good method to solve it.In the study of video stabilization, the video perturbations are divided into two status in this paper: the perturbations in the settled scene and in the scanning scene. Different arithmetics are designed to remove the unwanted video perturbations in a efficient way. In the global motion estimation which aims at analyzing the complex motion in the sequences, the projective method are improved to adopt the rotation and zooming transform in the images, which enhances the precision of the arithmetic.In the study of the video lost information recovering, the lost information are also divided into two status: the lost information in the static background and in the dynamic one. To the former, the recovering method is to estimate the lost part using the round area according to the comparability between them, and to the latter one, the resolving way is to recover the information according to the relativity and the dynamic characteristic of the video sequence, and three method are designed to realize the recuring of the information, they are single frame recovering, first and last frames recovering and adjacent frames recovering.A video stabilization and lost information recovering platform are built according to the above ideas. It has the function of discretional video's opening, saving and subsection and provides a good interface to realize the specific processing narrated above. At last a series of experiment results are given which test the effectiveness of the arithmetics in this paper.
