Point Moving Target Detection In Image Sequences

Moving point targets detection in image sequences always be the emphasis and difficulty in the field of targets detection and identification.Because the target only occupies one pixel,its SNR is low and the target almost be submerged by noise,these all bring huge difficulty to detection.Now,almost all detection arithmetics are for infrard image sequences,so,the aim of this article is to look for a new arithmetic which not only can be used in infrard image sequences but also can be used in visible light image sequences.Moving point targets detection in image sequences can be divided into three stages commonly,they are background suppression,target segmentation and target detection.Among these stages,background suppression is the key to the arithmetic,and it is the emphasis of this article.After studying some arithmetics be used frequently,this article puts forward a new arithmetic of moving point targets detection in image sequences.In the stage of background suppression,through researching the principles of high-pass filter and morphological filter,this article sums up their strongpoints and shortcomings respectively,and puts forward a new method of background suppression ,this method combines high-pass filter and morphological filter.We compare the new method with high-pass filter and morphological filter,the result proves the new method's superiority .In the stage of target segmentation,after analyzing existing segmentation arithmetics,this article puts forward a new method based on the idea of TBD,we call this method conjoint three frames target segmentation.In the stage of target detection,this article summarizes the shortcomings of existing arithmetics,and selects track energy cumulation detection arithmetic to accomplish the purpose.Finally,this article does simulation for the new point target detection arithmetic and works out performance analysis.Amount of simulation results and experiment data prove the new arithmetic's validity .This arithmetic has certain practicality.
