B & M Safety Management System

Safety management is one of the important measures to guarantee the electric power system running. The safety supervision department responsible for the safety management work undertakes great heavy work and pressures. With the wide use of computer science and network technology in the electric power systems, how to use these advanced techniques to improve the quantity of safety management, and ease the work pressure of persons for safety supervision, have become the increasingly outstanding problem.This project develops the electric power corporation Internet/Intranet's safety management system using the newest Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET technology. Through the demand analysis and software engineering method, we realize the publishing and sharing of safety information on internet, the transferring and examining of safety files, the declaring and checking of safety work through internet, the querying and statistic of safety information on internet, the automatically generating and printing of report forms, and the controlling of work flow. At the same time, based on the change of the safety rules, this system can flexibly adapt work flow, and makes every function module be implemented and replaced singly, so that makes it easy to connect with MIS or other systems, In addition, the flexible definition of mode makes it easy to keep same mode with other systems; the strict signature authentication and authority management can guarantee the safety of data.This article discusses the use of the Visual Studio .NET development tool and key techniques, from the design of software structure and programming, the Integrated development Environment (IDE) which combines C#, Java Script, ADO.NET. At last, we realize a system which is based on B/S structure and opening Internet protocol and standard, can run in LAN and WAN, can also run on internet through various internet technologies.
