Remote Digital Video Monitoring System Design

Recent years,with the high-speed development of the computer network technique,multimedia image compressing technique and digital communication technique,the Digital Video Monitor System gained giant progress.The Remote And Digital Video Monitor System is an integrated system.This system relates to the communication control, computer control,network control, autocontrol,image compressing technique,monitor technic and compositive technic and so on.This thesis is based on the theory of computer net transmission about video monitor, exerts the Winsock ,designs by means of the modules,discusses the long-distance and real-time video monitor system based on TCP/IP and MPEG4 about digital image compressing.This thesis introduces the whole project and each module on exploitation, for instance:net transmission module,MPEG4 image serve module,database module, history track record module,sound talk-back module and so on .This system is a remote surveillance system of transformer substation in power system. At present, it has used in remote monitor system of SUZHOU power successfully. The long-distance transmission,control and record of video,audio and data about substation have been achieved in this system.
