Recent years, the broadcasting of the sport events is becoming more and more important in morden soceity. Researchs on buliding broadcasting system that enables audience to view sport events from multiple different viewpoint is very popular. The triditional method is to generate virtual images by calibrating camera and constructing 3D model of the scence. But for many cases, it's a diffcult job.This paper adopts a method proposed recently, which uses projective geometry transform and 3D vision correspondence from multiple cameras to interpolate virtual images based on virtual viewpoint. This method does not need camera parameters from calibration, but only fundermental matrix between cameras. This matrix can be easily solved by a few of correspondence points between images.This thesis also researches following topics, such as the usage of the homography matrix, the method to solve the over-determined linear equition set, the improved 8-point algorithm and some image processing techniques.We conduct some preliminary experiments to applys above technique to broadcasting of sports events, and some preliminary resulted are presented also.
