Through The Private Network To The Next Generation Of Multimedia Streaming And Network Management

NGN is the abbreviation for next generation network. Because the bearer layer of NGN is IP network, with NGN deployment we will meet the private network based on NAT due to public IP address resource shortage, and also will face Firewall for the large corporation IP network security. These NAT and Firewall products will make up of lots of private networks. How to deliver NGN services to the users behind NAT/Firewall must be solved currently, so NGN shall have the traversal ability of private network , including multimedia IP packets and IP terminal network management information traversal. There are many companies focusing on the solutions of private network traversal. The main idea of this article is to describe the traversal solution SBC and OMC-T of NAT/Firewall in the NGN network for the practical purposes based on the analysis of IP network and IP terminals. This article is divided 6 parts as following,Chapter 1: total introduction, study background and its significations.Chapter 2: The technical analysis and comparison of private network traversals, to come up with a new proposal.Chapter 3: The proposal of multimedia traversal based on session control.
