Web Services-based Workflow Application

The technique about the workflow is a newly arisen research field, it make the business processing processed automatically by compute. Along with the quick development of compute and networks, more and more information systems of the modern enterprises show the characteristics of distribution, heteromorphy and autonomy, accordingly, the information resources of enterprise also distributes in the heteromorphic environment, so the technique about workflow also enter the distributed processing stage. However, the distributed model of workflow which simply uses component technique can hardly across through the firewall and connects with each other between heteromorphic systems. For making the workflow adapt enterprise's distributed environment, this thesis puts forward to workflow system based on Web services. As known, some distributed technique based on component must comply strictly data structure can not implement operation between different operating systems, Web services can overcome these limitation, furthermore, Web services make integration easier between incompact coupling heteromorphic systems. At the same time, the author use message queue to buildup asynchronous workflow system in order to provide the more flexible system structure. The thesis described a kind of structure frame of asynchronous workflow system, and analyzed feasible technique, then designed and implemented a system of order processing.
