In the article,I introduce the background and the progress of the Internet Billing System,and review the concept,the theory and application research about the system.I study the technology about RADIUS,corba and Memory Databases.I bring forward the solution to improve on the system by studying the technology.To improve the opening,expansibility,fast-deployment,high-power and real-time,I make use of the authentication in Memory Databases and make the file as a cache to save the billing information in the solution.In the end,I sum up my research.Now the Internet Billing System not only provide the support for the business operation,but also provide the content-based services,for example,games, video-chat,broadband-films,VoIP.I think about the development of the Internet Billing System in the future.
