The low-light-level (LLL) video system is very important both in military area and in civil area. It is a very important and attractive problem in the area of night vision technology at home and abroad to apply high speed digital signal processing technology to the real-time process of LLL video.In this dissertation, the characteristic of LLL video and some image processing algorithm reducing noise and enhancing image are analyzed, which is suitable to DSP system on the base of widely investigation of LLL processing technology research status at home and abroad. On the base of above study, the threshold-part-linear-draw algorithm is improved. The system's overall scheme is made and argued partly, the key technology of the hardware of the LLL video real-time processing system are studied deeply, including the design of video input and output module, digital video compressing, decompressing and storing module, data buffering module between DSP and video input and output module. The video compressing and storing board is designed, witch has the function of video capturing, outputting, compressing, decompressing and storing, with the knowledge of high speed digital circuit design, what's more, the partly corresponding control software are programmed. Finally, the software of the system's key part is fulfilled, some image processing algorithm reducing noise and enhancing image are achieved, and the basic image processing effects are made, on the embedded operating system DSP/BIOS.Now, some achievements of the system are achieved, steadily realized the faction of gray and color video image capturing, outputting, compressing, decompressing, storing and simple image processing.
