Consumer electronics, computer technologies and communication technologies are under taking an integrating process. Digital TV is one of the important applications in the trend. Based on the platform, many related services and applications are developed and presented unprecedent user experience to TV viewers. In fact, GUI and other graphic applications are playing crucial role in the interactions between machines and users. From the current researches, we see that 2D is still the important way in information presentation and user-machine interaction, and it can't be omitted in embedded systems. Take the features of embedded graphic applications, researchers proposed a graphic software framework used in the non-desktop multimedia devices called Open Graphics Framework, which has been applied in digital TV platform successfully. The infrastructure is the hardware-abstract layer and platform-crossing library with which the platform independence is achieved. Counting the layers of graphics environment,GUI toolkit ,high-level language,the Architecture meet the embedded graphics requirement,such as user experience, developer experience, core architecture and adaptability But this is just a software framework. With the progress of upcoming technology and the increase in the market demand, the graphic are becoming more and more complicated. With the hardware acceleration this can be handled. But even with the availability of some hardware accelerating product in the market, the technology details remain as unknown and there is still some myth about the cheaper implementation. Embedded browser is an important tool in digital TV applications and also an important technology for those embedded products which can provide internet access. In this paper, it is taken as a 2D application and concerned with how the display of the browser an web pages. A graphic framework is designed and implemented, taken the embedded browser as our target application. This is based on the Open graphics framework. We expand it by introducing the driver and graphics processing modules, thus a completed framework with hardware and software concepts are gained. The new sections consist of two models with clear interface. One of the module would act as part of driver layer under os, and the other is a mathematics model can develop into HW implement. To minish the difficulty, the abstract layer is simplified and the platform-crossing layer is replaced by the independent browser, with all of these, the display of the browser is realized.
