Agent-based Semantic Grid Communication

As a new technology of 90' s, the Grid is raised firstly according to the electric power network concept. Grid' s goal is to integrate entire Internet into a giant supercomputer, realize computation resources, memory resources, data resources, information resource, knowledge resources, expert resources and equipment resources comprehensive sharing in the global scope, and let a user when he uses grid be similar to use the present electrification conveniently.But grid has an extremely obvious problem that is the insufficient intelligence at present. The semantic Web technology developed gradually since 2001 has provided the answer for the question on grid' s insufficient intelligence. Semantic Web' s goal is to provide one kind of semantic support for computation platform, express information by the way that computer can understand, enable semantics interactive between human and computer, computer and computer conveniently, and realize automation. At present, two important technologies of XML and RDF (Resources description frame) which develop semantics web were already ready. The appearance of Jena, which is a semantic Web development tool, makes the semantic web come further into reality.Therefore the concept of Semantic grid which integrates semantic Web, Grid and Web service respective merit comes along. As an important research direction of grid technology at present, it uses the existing network infrastructure and the agreement standards to provide integrated intelligent information platform for users, to make up for the problems on insufficient intelligence of grid at present.At present, the research of semantic grid mainly concentrates on the following three aspects: standard organization of resources, semantic interconnection and intelligent polymerization.
