The stricture optimization and the improvement of the control circuit were discussed in the paper about the high-power ultraviolet laser made by our laboratory, and the problems about the stimuli circuit of XeCl excimer laser and the high electromagnetic interference generated by the discharge were settled to improve the stability of the laser. Then the circuit parameters related to the output characters of the laser were measured to supply the gist of the further optimization of the laser source. The optical detection of the plasma generated in the course of the interaction of laser and the solid was studied, and the external field affection of the Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) was also be researched. The mathematical model of the plasma was settled, then the character change of the plasma effected by the external field wasanalyzed by the laser transmission method. At last, the characters of La0.7Ca0.3MnO3films deposited with and without the external magnetic fields were compared, and result can be gained that the component of the film, surface-flatness and the resistance-temperature character can be effected by the external field, and the results of different feature were explained to offer the strong theoretic and experimental support of the further studies of this kind of materials.
