Based On The Mobile Agent Intrusion Detection System,

Intrusion Detection System is an important part of computer security, which implements real-time detection for intrusion. With the rapid developing and wide popularizing of the network, the traditional Intrusion Detection System architectures can't meet the need for the increasingly complicated and concealable intrusion. So new technical method is urgent to assure the accuracy and efficiency of intrusion detection.This paper studies the feasibility of applying Mobile Agent to Intrusion Detection System, designs and implements an experimental framework of Intrusion Detection System based on Mobile Agent.Then, the paper designs and implements the Intrusion Detection System based on Mobile Agent, emphasizing on the sensor agent and the communication mechanism between the agents. The Simulation result shows that IDS based on mobile agent is a great idea for the evolvement of IDS, and provide us new functions such as scalability, better performance and ability of distributed detection.At the end of the paper, it sums up the current job, analyzes the deficiency of the current model, and suggests how to approach the problem in future research.
