Accumulate A Portfolio Based On Network Research And Implementation Of The Platform

This paper is supported by Shaanxi Provincial Innovate Project of the 21~st Century for Higher Education and Teaching (0204014). The project aims to build a combinationed platform based on the Integrable ware theory, in order to provide a technical support for meta construct of the second generation CAI teaching tool. Remote Instruction based on the Internet technology is the orientation of modern CAI teaching tech development, while a combinationed platform based on the integrable ware theory is turning into the mainstream tool for CAI. In this paper, the research's focuses are key technologies to build this platform and the related operating enviroment on server. Main research includes the following works:Because the courseware is fixed in style, the so called 'integrable wares' at present are lack of hierarchy. By introducing the concept of metadata, this paper introduces the idea 6f combination and recombination files as metadata resource into integrable ware freely. At the same time, it also expands the metadata file resource. XML is used to separate data into expressions and processes, which can be layed into tree structure. It can also integrate data with different types. By saving teaching materials as XML file, we can construct the materials and reuse any part of them freely.By comparing between several popular tools for data management. A new technique has been put forward to store multimedia data materials in file management system and metadata introduction in RDB, so that it can improve retrieval speed as well as files management efficiency.This paper have put forward the idea to construct the platform under C/S structure, and watch coursewares under the combination C/S and B/S. Therefore the platform can be used not only under Internet environment but also stand-alone. The software is developed under Microsoft .NET. The platform itself is programmed by C#.NET, C# is used to map xml data into structured data directly, improving the flexibility of xml files.The Helix Server is used to offer data stream service .To ensure the security, the password is encrypted by MD5. Access control and port permission limitation are also introduced.
