| The Network Block Device driver offers an access model that simulates a local block device by accessing the resource of remote server. This paper discuss a newly designed network block device (Lan Network Block Device) in detail which is implemented in LKM(Loadable Kernel Module). It can be used as a kind of infrastructure of NC(Network Computer), or a way of sharing network resource as well, we have compared the performance of LNBD with other similar techniques and a set of test results was given at the end. |
