Based On The The Rtcc Use Token Mechanism And Hybrid Transmission Of Ethernet Technology,

Ethernet is very prevalent in traditional services domain Because of proven technique and low price. At the same time,Ethernet is also used in industrial control domain. In field bus,there are some new techniques on Ethernet with the characters that are hard-real time, high bandwidth and high reliability. However,current hard-real time communicating protocols can only transmit hard-real time data. If the ordinary service should be provided, it is necessary to build another network system that transmit soft-real time data and non-real time data. If the control netwok and data communication network can be put into one system,the investment would be largely reduced and the work of maintenance would be simple. Based on the RTCC,this dissertation pay attention to the integrated service Ethernet and achieves useful result.Ethernet and correlative transmitting techniques is firstly discussed detailedly in this dissertation,and the transmitting protocols based on Token are analyzed. As a result, the Token mechanism is used to realize the transmission of soft-real time data and non-real time data. Afterwards, the media access control methods and the scheduling mechanism for new protocol are brought forward through researching on the RETHER protocol and scheduling algorithms.Based on above work,we research into the related principles and the mechanism of integrated service Ethernet. The research focus on the following points: the research about the structure of ISE(Integrated Service Ethernet):On the basis of analyzing the RTCC and RETHER,a new structure of ISE based on the Ethernet hardware is brought forward. At the interval of transmitting hard-real time data,the soft-real time data and non-real time data can be transmitted by SPE_TOKEN. the mechanism of transmitting soft-real time data and non-real time data by using Token mechanism in SPE_TOKEN mode. the mechanism adapted to the SPE_TOKEN.
