Vxi-bus Digital I / O Modules And Waveform Control To Achieve

VXIbus integrated test system is one type of the automatic test system, and now ,VXIbus module has overlayed traditional electron instrument fields. VXIbus instrument modules can be easily integrated to be different automatic test system,which has faster data transmission speed,higher reliability, and lower price than traditional test system. Depending on the criterion of hardware and software, VXIbus test system can improve some characters ,such as , interoperability, which is very convenient for integration and application. Criterion of hardware include: main machine frame,linker,interface, etc;Criterion of software means to support standard system software which include: operation system ,program language,I/O drivers,instrument drivers,and software tool. The point of this dissertatin is on the hardware and software of the VXI atuomatic test system. The part of software relate the design of waveform display control in a test software development platform. This software development platform which completed by CAT staff room of UESTC is based on the windows operation system. The waveform display control is an important control in this platform, which can realize the waveform describition of data, and offer many operate functions for user, such as magnify, roll,mark,these facilitate operators to observe output data. The part of hardware relate the design of VXIbus digital I/O module .The first step to design a VXIbus module is the development of interface . Register based or message based VXIbus instrument is regular. This thesis main discuss the messange based instrument.The development of interface has two methords ,one is use FPGA large integrated circuit ,the other is use the special interface chip,which has completed almost all the functions .Based on the IT9010M,user can easily develop the Register and message based circuit.
