Safety consciousnesss is greatly enhanced in recent years, especially after the 9.11 incident. The social demand in guard against danger is increasing. Because the captured target of active infrared imaging monitoring system is video image, which is intuitional, resovable and processable conveniently & controllable in longer distance ,it is put into use in the field of science research, police detection and safety defence. Therefore, long-distance, fine resolving power and shady infrared image system possesses of realism significance and economy bebifits.Try our best to develop long-distance, excellent distinguishing rate and shady active infrared image monitoring device aiming at the shortage in action distance, resolving power and shabby degree in the thesis. The image quality of active infrared imaging monitoring system is relational with many fators: objective infrared reflection characteristic, the infrared transport characteristic, infrared illumination lamp, optical lenses system and CCD camera performance, etc. In the thesis, we compared the theory, efficiency, optical spectrum distribution, illuminating intensity distribution, life and price of different artifical infrared lighters. These provide gist for image system lamp. In the meantime, we analyse the main factors that is focus, relative aperture and image illuminance affect lens image quality and their relations. we simply introduce CCD vidicon working theory and notation of selecting type. we also studied the motive target detection technology based on video image processing and developed alarm technology available adjusted threshold difference image based on software. In the thesis, we design an active infrared imaging system monitoring device, which includes infrared lighter, lenses, vidicon, digital image collection&processing, signal transport & control, revolver, shield, decode device and synthesis control box design and selecting models. Firstly, we design and compute infrared lamp according to image identification experience and combined other indexes of system. In addition, we also devise video and control signal transport approach and mode, image compress manner and synthesis control box.
