| Developed by Zhejiang University, the Electrical and Electronic Network Laboratory (NetLab) is a remote integrated virtual laboratory with electrical and electronic experiments for science and engineering students. The NetLab adopts double C/S structure and consists of Client, Server and Controller. All the experiments are based on real physical equipments. At present, the NetLab is under trial operation and meets different needs of engineering teachers and students, especially the students of distance education and continuing education.Because NetLab system is very large and systemic, it involved many members of my laboratory to complete division of it respectively, and at the same time it needs their cooperation. In this project, my main work is to develop whole frame of Client. Its function modules include user interface, user information management, experiment information management, experiment operation, interface of experiment modules, data communication... etc. The Client contacts users directly, so one emphasis of the project is developing friendly and provided with abundant functions graphical user interfaces; and, the Client is a terminal to send commands and display data, so the other emphasis is data communication. In order to complete the whole frame of Client better, and benefit my comprehension of the combination mechanism of combine every experiment module with the whole frame of Client, I developed one of the experiment modules - Blowing Plate Angle Control Experiment. For improving the experiment effect for students consumedly, and raising the students' recept when doing experiments, a living video service subsystem is appended to NetLab system. The subsystem adopts efficient and practical double C/S structure, and can entirely integrate existing NetLab and unite Client, Server and Controller of NetLab. In this mission, I take charge of Client of video service subsystem. It can be seamlessly integrated into the Client frame of the whole NetLab system as one of the function modules. |
