With the fast development of Internet and World Wide Web, software development become more and more complex, the traditional software design method are under-qualified with the reality. More and more software need to be more distributed and intelligent, then comes with the Agent. The study on Agent has become a hotspot in the field of Distributed Artificial Intelligence in the recent years.Agent is the anthropopathic entity staying and moving in the real world. Agent technology has many intelligent properties such as autonomy, activity, reactivity, mobility and sociality, which make it adapt to mobile computing environment very well and go with out saying to be the best choice to realize enterprise application Integration. This dissertation is devoted to theoretical and practical study of enterprise application integration based on Agent. The main contents are as follows:1. Agent and MAS's historical and development is reviews from theory and practice. Discussion about integrating enterprise application using Agent.2. To improve Enterprise Application Integrating Platform's(EAIP) ability of integrating and flexibility, this paper proposes an architecture of integration based on agent(AIA) and describes the structures of the agent in AIA. AIA consists of three tiers: UI tier, coordination tier and model tier, and every tier is composed with agent. EAIP based on AIA has many advantages such as clear-structure, open-ability and self-adaptability.3. This paper proposes the interface architecture for human-computer cooperation; with organizational concepts and supporting technologies, by means of "energy controlling" mechanism and intelligent negotiation methodologies, we propose the model of agent of supporting dynamic enterprise model; by combining information engineering with object-orient, we discussed how to set up the model tier which based on RDBMS.4. By using EJB/RIM and Object-Oriented language, we discuss how to realize an agent as well as the method about agent-based enterprise application integration.The dissertation concludes with a series of vistas of future enterprise application integration based on Agent.
