The workflow management system is a popular crossover subject researched by the commercial and the academic. But at present, many traditional workflow models have their own limitation, one of which is that they could not provide sufficient support during the process of business transaction or under the database management environment to keep the data in the database consistent , correct and reliable . In this paper , we provide a object-oriented workflow model with transaction property and explore the way to present and implement the workflow transaction. At the same time, we offer a strategy of system-supported workflow recovery based on the log file. And then we implement the workflow dynamic changes of actual business using component technique in software engineering. At last , we resolve the practical problem in electrical management system using the principle of workflow. We introduce the three-tier design method which design the workflow process, task and datasource from abstraction to concretion. This can improve the limitation that traditional workflow describe the data in a abstract manner. And this can give facilities for workflow system based on vast data information. The failure handle and recovery is a key part of workflow management. In this paper, a failure handle and recovery strategy is introduced . Compared with the traditional way, the new strategy takes into account both the control dependency and the data dependency between workflow task during the failure recovery. What is more, how to implement of task application is explored to improve the efficiency in failure recovery. We open a new, feasible way for system-supported recovery mechanism via database log file and workflow log file to avoid the difficulty of workflow design and the complexity of workflow management system. The traditional workflow lacks support to dynamic change of workflow. In this paper , basing on the new workflow model above, we introduce a environment for workflow dynamic change, and explore a language for workflow dynamic change and its compiler, and how to check the feasibility of dynamic change to ensure the correctness, operability and completeness.
