Builder Network Teaching System Based On Web Video

From the 90s of last century, the technology of computer network was developed rapidly. This technology was applied in many sections. Distance education is a kind of new type of education which combines the computer network and the technology of multi-media. By the distance education, all the people being educated can break through the limits of education methods and education resources (teachers, books, experiments, showing equipments, etc). Therefore, the excellent education methods and resources could be used without the limits of time and space. People being educated can arrange their study plan according with their study level and time, thus they can get the personality learning which they can not get in traditional education. At the same time, because of the using of multi-media, teachers and students can exchange their thoughts by the texts, sounds, diagrams, thus the learning interests was motivated, the teaching quality was improved. Distance education offers a useful way for popularity education and continuous education.At present, distance education is not used widely in our country. Other than the factors such as unpopularized of computers, an important reason is the lack of the perfect tool that can generate a distance education system which can meet the requests of the users.In this dissertation, the features of distance education and the differences between traditional education and distance education were introduced firstly. The design criterion of distance education was introduced. According to this criterion, design thoughts of a distance education template based on web view flows was expounded.The developing tools of this system were also introduced, including ASP, SQL Server and Helix Sever, which is used as view flow server. The principles and protocols of view media were also introduced.In this dissertation, a method of the constitution of a generator to develop a remote teaching system was expounded. Using the Real Server/Helix Server as the video server, this system can also expound traditional education tactics such as texts and diagrams. The system is developed with ASP, and the background database is SQL Server 7. 0. Some developments wereaccomplished on the video server with Delphi. With the total functions, the system can be used conveniently. By the system, users can develop a remote teaching system that fits their own cases conveniently.
