Free Space Optical Communication Transceiver System

Optical communication brings all of world into the information century with very high speed. It has become a new high technique grew-up point and the support of economy. Free-Space-Optical communication is an important offset of optical communication. My researching subject is based on military & civil use. It has an important use in 'last mail' and emergency communication.This dissertation consists of a theoretical and experimental study of the performance of a free-space direct detection optical communication system using s semiconductor laser diode as the optical transmitter and a PIN as the receiver photodetector.We introduced the structure of the system :optical system; LD modulating driver circuit ;PIN photodetector; TIA(a transimpedance preamplifier), limting Amplifier, Clock Recovery and.
