Dsp Technology-based Ip Telephony Design And Realization

IP phone is a communication equipment of transmitting speech signals over Internet. It has been paid more attention now because of the advantage of saving bandwith and money.This Thesis introduced the design and realization of a DSP-based IP phone; we mainly discussed the selection of the IP phone scheme, comparsion of the speech-coding criteria and the realization of the IP phone.This thesis introduced the scheme of the IP phone firstly, a DSP-based IP phone scheme that united the software and hardware was chosen according to the development of the IP phone and Internet. Then we discussed the principle of the speech coding, and chose G. 728 speech-coding criterion according to the traits of the IP phone. Moreover the realization of the IP phone scheme was researched, we mainly discussed the software and hardware design method, the software design was the realization of the speech coding on DSP, the hardware design included the design of the schematic and the printed circuit board (PCB) and the debugging of the hardware. Through the debugging of the hardware, we conclude that the IP phone can satify the system requirement.
