Traveling-wave Tube Multistage Depressed Collector Cad

The traveling wave tube(TWT) is an important high-power microwave resource which has been applied in many fields such as radar communicating broadcasting high-power microwave weapon and so on. TWT with good performances has been developed and the research on TWT has been carried out on the world. It has been sixty years since it was invented Some countries such as USA Russia Germany etc has highly developed TWT with many researchers and material. Since 1970 China begin on the search of TWT. The paper presents a general introduction in theory of Multistage Depressed Collectors(MDC) the development of Multistage Depressed Collectors physical model and mathematic model of electron's motion in MDC. It deduce the equation of electron's motion. With the numerical calculation method it solute electric field magnetic field space charge effect etc and program the software of Multistage Depressed Collectors named Collector4.The software solves Possion equation with the method of limited deference computer static electric field with relaxation method and the equation of electron's motion ,and resolve relativistic trajectories with RUNGE–KUTTA, and gain the efficiency of recuperation of Multistage Depressed Collectors by ratio of recovered capacity and total capacity to electrodes and gain the current on each electrode by the trace of electron.The software can simulates axial-symmetric Multistage Depressed Collectors. It can computers static electric field, injecting electron's trajectories, secondary electron' trajectories which are produced by injecting electron's collision on electrode surface. At the last it can show collector's efficiency by dialog .Further more, it has a friendly reciprocal interface and can been learned and used easily.With the same input, Collector4 and ORION computer six Multistage Depressed Collectors. at last I compare the results of Clollector4 and ORION with pictures and figures and draw a conclusion that Collector4 is accurate.
