This thesis is to introduce the manufacture of w-band mixer..first using method of varational principle to analyze CPW.Equation for microstrip and finline design employed to design the transition between waveguide finline and microstrip.the analysis of harmonic balance and transpositional matrix is used to get the formula of conversion loss in the later according to equivalent circuit design the whole circuit .finally we facture it using RT/Duriod 5880 with 0.127 thickness and dielectic constant of 2.22.The result of the mixer RF92GHz~96GHz ,LO 90GHz, IF2~6GHz,LO power=10mW conversion loss less than 15dB. it's isolation of all port is more than 20dB. RF and LO is via BJ900 Waveguide,the output is through a SMA port, The result of the mixer is analysised.Improvement is introduced in the end.As a key component of receive system. Mixer improve the performance of the system. Therefore in practice on matter in military field or commercial field the work is very important.
