Servers' Monitoring is an important part of whole net's monitoring. By monitoring servers we can know net's running state ,find out some abnormity during its running process in time, and provide important parameters for finding abnormity's reason. This paper is aimed to research on advanced network management modeling and technology, design function modules of a whole monitor system. These modules can be analyzed and then divided to design different deploying policy. Different deploying policy adapt to different monitoring environment. Based on character and requirement of Zhengzhou university's net center, a net server monitoring system has been designed.Firstly, through analyzing and designing architecture of monitoring servers' system, the whole system has been divided into three modules and analyzed by UML activity chart.The system collect servers' parameters about six possible servers' abnormity, collecting static parameter represent servers' basic information ,collecting dynamic parameter and computing history data represent servers' running state by graphics. This system adopts collective deploying policy based on its monitoring environment, and adopts time searching policy to guide administrators find out data which he is interested in.This system runs excellent during running-in. In the module of collection, it provides function of continuously collecting servers' parameter; in the module of database, it stores all the data which was send by collecting module in different tables; in the module of displaying, it compute history data by optimized arithmetic and display result by graphics.Secondly, the commonly drawbacks of such monitoring system are huge database and low rate computing efficiency .These drawbacks have been solved in this system, so this system have more stability and efficiency.Based on this system, this paper gives a whole solving project of high stability and efficiency system.Finally, this paper analyze environment of distributed servers' cluster, and suggest a solution of dividing collecting module to adapt to this complex environment.
