Range Vernier technique is a novel phase ranging technique, which can provide radial measurement with noise values at sub-qtr-wavelength level. Firstly we discuss the principle of Range Vernier technique in detail. Then we analyze the error produced by Range Vernier under certains of maths-modeling. At last we find a simple method to apply Range Vernier to linear frequency modulation pulse radar, and show the feasibility to application of Range Vernier technique to real-time data processing. |
