In this dissertation, the video acquisition and infrared image processing system based on USB2.0 is discussed. The USB bus possesses of many merits such as agility, Ease-of-Use, Dynamic Attach-Detach and high speed. Using P89C61X2 and ISP 1581, a video acquisition system based on DMA and USB2.0 is designed. The technique of firmware programming and the application program for computer are expounded in detail.Furthermore, by analysis of the characteristic of infrared images, some new infrared image enhancement and interpolation algorithm are put forward. The image equalization through deleting redundant grays is quick in speed and easy to be realized by hardware. The limited image sharpening in space domain adds flexibility to traditional image sharpening. In the end, an adaptive interpolation for infrared images is brought forward and compared with other interpolation algorithms. |
