Dynamic security of group key distribution is always the key point and difficult point in the research field of multicast security. With the development of multicast research, some algorithms are put forward such as LKH, OFT. Most effective algorithms put forward at present use logical key hierarchy to reduce encryption computation cost from O (N) to O (IgN) when renewing ciphers. But the storage cost of those algorithms is linear with group scale. In this thesis, we propose an I LKH algorithm and prove its success in reducing storage and transfer costs compared with other algorithm.In the thesis, we firstly introduce today multicast security research scope and multicast security hierarchy, explain the environment and importance of Key Management Algorithm. Secondly we put forward a new ILKH algorithm and theoretically prove ILKH algorithm has less storage and transfer costs than other algorithms. At last, we realize the ILKH algorithm in a concrete Group Control/Key Server (GCKS) which adopts GSAKMP as Group Key Management Protocol.Realized GCKS with ILKH can provide security service in different key area such as security video conference, long-distance education, distributed network grid computation.
