This paper provides an Object Oriented model for network architecture with UML and design patterns. I build a model for some essential protocols in TCP/IP stack. The model based on Object Oriented technology, circumfused the three center concepts (services, protocol, interface) and the three protocol elements (syntax, semantics, timing).OSI reference model is an industry standard in computer network, the principles of OSI modeling adapt to most computer network protocols in industry practical application. TCP/IP reference model is a de facto standard. Many application protocols run over it, because of the abroad applies. This paper made the model based on OSI reference model, and exampled with TCP/IP stack. The model described with UML and Design Patterns, it is different with that object-oriented network using custom notion. The model in this paper is different from that pointed to concrete protocol and implementation, this paper provided a model for generic network protocol stack and design model in software engineering. The model link the network technology and modern software engineering, and it can make the technology and education risk lower in project, and workload lower. The model can make the coupling between network technology and software engineering minimized. The model will be practically applied to some software engineering project with heavily networking modules.
