| Nowdays, as the security problem becoming more and more prominent, firewall and IDS based on Linux become more and more in the market, so their running system also become hotpots of many software explores. In order to avert firewall and IDS being suspended by malicious softwares and disabled, we must ensure that they are executed first each time, and the delay of the kernel is the shortest, so that real time program can be executed at specific time. In order to achieve this effect, this paper put forward the plan of ELinux to realize hard-real-time control.However, there are still several problems when we using Linux as hard-real-time system. To resolve them, this paper will analyze Linux kernel and then make more detailed description about the planning and realization of ELinux, the purpose of which is to make the system more open, normal, friendly, effective and become a multitask system having hard real-time control. At the end of the paper, I make a conclusion and also the expectation of the future. |
