Its usage had been sensed in many fields like communication, automotive sectors, information technology and many other fields. As its application has been increasing from time to time the demand for security is also increasing. The various techniques like Bluesnarfing, Bluebugging etc has lead the security of the bluetooth system to the great necessity. In Bluetooth systems, the feature for security includes key generation, authentication of users and encryption of data before transmitting them.;The link keys are generated with the random number and the bluetooth device address. These link keys are used in authentication and encryption process. This work is based on the implementation of the link keys using VHDL in the Altera Quartus II tool. The SAFER + algorithm is used for the implementation. SAFER + algorithm is used widely used in the bluetooth security systems for its key-mixing and substitution stages. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Bluetooth, System, SAFER, Security, Link, Used | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
