《The System of Reporting Statistical Information online by Web》 (applied to Industrial Survey) is specially developed for The Statistics and Census Service of the Macao Special Administrative Region. This is to repsond to the requests enhancing public administration efficiency by He Houhua, the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region.The system is a 3-tiers web-based application system, includes tier of Web application, tier of Web Services and tier of Database Service. The purpose is to as much as possible make use of Network technology, liberate some Statistical Survey from the status manual nowadays, in order to save up human resources, material resources, financial resources, increase efficiency, and reduce error.In the light of complexity of Industrial Survey, the system design an illustration for every question by mouse moving, showing definitions and concepts, and examples,. so that make users easily to know how to fill it in the form. This particularity makes the main explanatory work reduced to examples on the illustration, and the use of telephone or on the door explanation became supplementary.The first Chapter of the report introduces the need of setting up the system, it's background and source. The Chapter 2 introduces the technology support of development and running environment of the system, introduces concisely the used technologies. The Chapter 3 introduces the system's general aspects, framework, designate principles, function, 3-tiers framework with XML Web Service of Web Application , and database structure, and realization of the System. The Chapter 4 presents the web-site structure ASP-Based of Web-Application. From the programming aspects, the Chapter 5 concisely analyzes the most important techniques in realization of the system. The contents include the followings: XML, ADO.NET, WebForm, Web Services and CrystalReport. In particular, the chapter about Disconnected Dataset of ADO.NET; server-side binding technology; using Stored Procedures in Log on to the application; using XML format to transfer data between tiers; support session mechanism; executing Web Services to achieve Dataset, update, delete, insert operation of database; product address-label with CrystalReport and export to Word Document; uses of System.Web.Mail, namespace of .NET, to auto send notices to the users (respondents of questionnaires) by Web; and realize Upload the Excel data of Corporation with System.IO. The Chapter 6 details to describe how to realize the security of the System of Internet-Application, by Authentication Forms and Authorization of ASP.Net.
