This paper mainly talks about the design of memory testing system for hard target penetration experiment. The essence of penetration testing, method is introduced in detail. In memory testing system part, the design of charge meter, low analogue filter, the use of circuit mainly controller-HB0201, the means of anti-interference in circuit are provided. The principle of accelerometer which used for penetration testing, and its dynamic performance are analyzed. By relative calibration method, the accelerometers used are calibrated.The performance of penetration testing system is checked by air-cannon used for penetration simulation. In addition, the scheme of air-cannon structure is introduced and the velocity of bullet used in penetration simulation experiment is calculated. At mean time, the signal sampled from experiment is analyzed in some extent.The method of designing FIR filter with software-Matlab is illustrated in this paper. The testing signal is filtered by Kaiser-window filter. The result is satisfactory. As an important port of penetration testing work, the data measured in process of projectile penetrating concrete target is analyzed. In signal processing, the wavelet analytical method is used. The application of wavelet is introduced. The comparison with Fourier is explained. By wavelet method, the signal is analyzed effectively.In addition, the questions faced in current work and advanced research direction are pointed out in this paper.
